Week 1–2

Step 02

Document Preparation

Once we confirm a suitable opening, you begin assembling your required documents. Our team provides a detailed checklist and guides you on where to obtain each item in Kampala. Missing or incorrect documents are the most common cause of delays — start early.

2 full-body photos (white background)
16 passport-size photos (35×45mm)
Vetting Papers from the Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development
Academic Documents (certificates, diplomas, or trade certificates)
Consent Document (required for all applicants)
Yellow Book — Uganda National Medical Record / vaccination booklet

Our document team reviews every file before submission to ensure nothing is missing or out of date.

Week 2–3

Step 03

Employer Matching & Contract Review

We match your profile to a verified employer in your chosen destination. You will receive the employment contract in advance — we explain the key terms, your salary, your accommodation arrangements, and your working hours. You sign only when you are satisfied.

Review contract terms with our team (salary, hours, duties)
Confirm accommodation and meals arrangement
Understand the return airfare arrangement
Sign contract — no pressure, no hidden clauses

We work only with employers we have reviewed. If we are not satisfied with an employer, we do not place workers with them.

Week 3–4

Step 04

Pre-Departure Training & Orientation

All workers must complete a mandatory pre-departure orientation. This covers workplace expectations, cultural awareness for your destination country, safety procedures, your rights as a worker, and emergency contact protocols. For female domestic managers, additional arrangements are made.

Full-day orientation session at our Kampala office
Cultural awareness and workplace etiquette briefing
Worker rights and emergency contact information
Final document verification and sign-off

For female domestic managers: we arrange air ticket, visa, insurance, meals, and accommodation as part of this stage.

Week 4–5

Step 05

You travel to your destination with all paperwork confirmed and your employer notified of your arrival details. Migration Solution Limited remains reachable after your arrival — if any issue arises in the first weeks, contact us and we will intervene on your behalf.
